Here we have objects gaining dimensions as they 'fall' through each 'hole'. At the very top is singularity with zero dimensions, it then becomes single dimension - infinitely thin string-like objects, then two dimensions with disc shapes. This then becomes three dimensions (ball-shaped), followed by the fourth dimension, which is time, so hence the ball being in more than one place at a time. It continues at ever higher dimensions.
