These were the largest animals of the Pre-Cambrian times and one of the first known carnivorous animals on Earth. They had a circular shaped jaw lined with several layers of teeth. They used the two front appendages to catch prey and transfer them to the mouth.The picture shows one just about to catch an Odaraia. Odaraia was a strange animal with three fins. Unusual, when you think there are no present day animals on Earth with three fins.
