1003 Life in the Skies

Imagine planets without any solid land (ie gas giants) having life within the atmosphere. How would it evolve? Here I have created huge 'gasbags', kilometres long, floating among rising reddish-coloured clouds of micro-organisms which they feed on. Flying in formation are some delta-shaped creatures using jet propulsion. (Air entering in ventral air-intakes and ejected at high speed at the back)
