Triton is one of Neptune’s moons, and has active cryovolcanism. The image shows three plumes rising for about 8 kilometres before being blown by Triton’s rarefied atmosphere into long horizontal plumes. The Sun shines through the nearest plume, creating a beautiful icebow, due to the ice crystals within the plume."
