It is a few months after the K/T event (the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs). A small mammal surveys the destruction - the dinosaurs have gone and there's an ecological niche waiting to be filled. Millions of years later the Earth will be teeming with a wide variety of mammals. For now, this small mammal must survive in a strange, but for the moment safer, world.
