A multituberculate stands on a branch in mid Africa during the Cretaceous. The wading dinosaur searching for fish is a Suchomimus. Multituberculates were rodent-like mammals that existed for approx 125million years before becoming extinct due to rodents during the Oligocene (approx 30 million years ago).
