2520 Scelidosaurus & Dimorphodons
On a warm, humid shoreline near what is now Lyme Regis, a Scelidosaurus browses among ferns and horsetails. Shallow tidal waters, scattered driftwood and distant cycads suggest a subtropical coast close to the equator. Above, two Dimorphodon wheel above, echoing one of the earliest visions of prehistoric life recorded from this region.
